Yes indeed, always learning. Great in many ways, but tiring.
Netinstall is nice (in part) because you get to select the RouterOS version, and then can readily paste the .rsc file into a blank config. This is what I wound up doing.
Shipping the device to the site today and hopefully plugging it in will be within the local person's capability.
When I get the old device, I'll report back what condition it is in.
